ROCKETS Investments
What happens when three established brands — each with their own loyal user base — suddenly become one? That was the challenge behind the ROCKETS Investments redesign: merging GREEN ROCKET, HOME ROCKET, and LION ROCKET into a single platform without losing trust, clarity, or identity along the way.
/// ROCKETS Investments is Austria's largest crowdinvesting platform, connecting thousands of small investors with businesses, real estate projects, and sustainable startups. Following a strategic decision to unify three previously independent platforms under one roof, the product needed a complete rethink — not just visually, but structurally. The goal was to create a unified investment experience that felt familiar to existing users while being intuitive enough for newcomers.
/// Merging three platforms into one sounds clean on paper — but in reality, it raised a critical UX risk: existing users could lose orientation, trust, and confidence in a platform they'd already committed their money to. On top of that, GREEN, HOME, and LION each represented fundamentally different investment categories with different user expectations. The challenge was finding a common design language that could hold all three together — without flattening what made each one distinct. Add to that the legal sensitivity of financial products, and the complexity of stakeholder alignment, and this project was anything but straightforward.

/// A unified platform with a category-based architecture that preserves the identity of GREEN, HOME, and LION as recognisable investment pillars — now under one roof. A role-aware investor dashboard was developed to give users full control over their portfolio, their ROCKETS account, and their transaction history, all in one place.

/// This was a full end-to-end project — from strategic concept and information architecture through to UI delivery and developer handoff. Working closely with the Customer Care team and real user feedback gathered by the Marketing department, I built UX decisions on actual pain points rather than assumptions.

/// All design work was done in Adobe XD and Figma, covering design systems, component libraries, and responsive screen layouts across the full platform. A particular challenge was navigating the legal constraints of a regulated financial product — every design decision had to be aligned with both usability goals and compliance requirements, which meant constant communication with stakeholders across design, legal, and development.
